The Edinburgh Business School curriculum is designed with a unique pathway approach. Students who want to complete the Edinburgh Business School programs can select a pathway that fits their needs, and earn their degrees based on the requirements of that pathway. For example, MBA students can select a distance learning pathway, a full-time pathway, a part-time pathway, and an ALP pathway. Each of these pathways provides students with a different option for earning their degree, from online learning to attending classes on-campus for one or two years.
As an international university, the Edinburgh Business School provides nearly 350 exam centers around the world. Edinburgh Business School has established partnerships with 20 Approved Learning Partners, or ALPs, who offer an appropriate curriculum similar to the Edinburgh Business School standards. Students can take courses in their local languages at one of the international exam centers by selecting their region and searching for local programs. Local programs may vary, depending on the Approved Learning Partner.
MSc programs include financial management, human resource management, marketing, and strategic planning. These programs are designed for people who want to develop advanced careers in related fields, including stepping into management roles in existing organizations. For students who already work with great companies, the executive pathway, or part-time pathway, offers an option for students to continue their careers while earning their degrees part-time. The executive pathway takes two years, compared with the full-time pathway one-year targeted completion time.
