Southern Wesleyan University is a Christian liberal arts school with locations around South Carolina. Southern Wesleyan University houses roughly 650 undergraduate students on campus, and accommodates another 1,000 adult-evening undergraduate students and 720 graduate students. Southern Wesleyan University offers 36 programs of study, including four graduate programs and an honors program. 74% of the faculty at Southern Wesleyan have earned doctorate degrees, and the Southern Wesleyan University has an international faculty that represents several countries.

Students can earn a broad range of degrees at Southern Wesleyan University, including associate's degrees, bachelor's degrees, and master's degrees in various disciplines. Southern Wesleyan University provides programs in a diverse range of disciplines, including accounting, biology, business administration, education, management of information technology, and many other fields of study. Not all degree programs are available at each location.

Student life at Southern Wesleyan University provides students with a broad range of activities, including 14 clubs and organizations, and 10 intercollegiate sports. Students can access the Campus Life Center, gym, and tennis courts, as well as mountain biking trails, hiking, and horseback riding nearby. Southern Wesleyan University focuses on spiritual life, too, providing weekly chapel services, ministry teams, bible studies, mission fellowships, and chaplains at each learning center.

In addition to undergraduate programs, Southern Wesleyan University offers adult and graduate studies designed to enable busy adults to earn associate's degrees, bachelor's degrees, and master's degrees while meeting the demands of a busy life. Adult and graduate studies meet just once per week, and provide small classes and personalized instruction.
