Real Estate Schools in Colorado

Real estate schools in Colorado train brokers in the business and legal requirements needed to practice in this field. They also instruct future real estate appraisers, subdivision developers, and mortgage and loan originators. Each of these professions requires, not a degree, but a state license. In the state of Colorado, a real estate license comes in three forms: an associate broker, an independent broker, and an employing broker. An associate broker license is open to newcomers, but includes 168 hours of instruction. Coursework encompasses real estate law, Colorado building regulations, trust accounts, recording keeping, legal issues, and real estate closing. While some students prefer to complete a degree program in preparation for their exam, others simply take the required courses. Once their exam is passed, they can embark on a new and interesting career.
