Public Administration Schools in Colorado
If your first thought about public administration schools in Colorado had to do with working in government, you’re right – but only partly. While many public administration school graduates do work in local, state, or federal government or in homeland security, this education is also useful in community programs, healthcare, and nonprofit organizations. While many of the principles of business management apply to public administration, the focus is usually less on dollars and more on service. Bachelor’s and master’s degrees are available, with the latter preferred for management positions. Classes include ethics, finance and budgeting for the public sector, and policy analysis.
