Morrison University offers both Associate and Bachelors of Science degrees in Accounting.

Bachelor of Science in Accounting

The objective of this program is to provide students with a solid understanding of accounting systems and the techniques of preparing and analyzing financial accounting. Morrison University offers Associate of Science and Bachelor of Science Degrees in Accounting. In order to satisfy the requirements to take the CPA exam in Nevada the curriculum at Morrison University meets the accounting education course prerequisites. To be eligible to sit for the Nevada CPA exam, a student must complete an additional 45 credit hours beyond the 180 credit hours required to graduate from this program. To meet the requirements, credits that are gained in the MBA program can be used.

Associate of Science in Accounting

A program working towards the Associate of Science in Accounting enables a student to prepare himself for the entry level positions at intermediate levels related to accounting and auditing areas. This program emphasizes accounting and computer accounting while integrating computer applications with business. Students learn to perform fundamental tasks of the occupation such as preparing, analyzing, and verifying financial documents in order to provide information to clients. The program also focuses on accounting and computer accounting while combining computer applications with business.
