Liberty University

Liberty University is a Christian university located in Lynchburg, Virginia. Liberty University offers more than 140 degree options in 60 programs, including undergraduate and graduate programs. Students at Liberty University can attend classes on-campus, or earn degrees online. Liberty University integrates Christian beliefs with a liberal arts education, in programs designed to prepare students for leadership roles in society.

Liberty University undergraduate students can attend programs in one of nine schools: the Center for Academic Support & Advising Services, the College of Arts & Sciences, the Helms School of Government, the School of Aeronautics, the School of Business, the School of Communication, the School of Education, the School of Engineering and Computational Sciences, or the School of Religion. Each of these schools offers unique programs, including a broad range of majors and minors that enable each student to pursue the unique educational experience he or she desires.

Graduate students have access to the same schools as the undergraduate programs, plus the Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. The graduate programs at Liberty University include Master of Arts in History, Master of Arts in English, Master of Science in Sport Management, and a range of Master of Arts programs through the Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary & Graduate School.

The online university division of Liberty University offers 40 programs with 90 areas of specialization for students. Students of Liberty University online can earn Associate's degrees, Bachelor's degrees, Master's degrees, and Doctoral degrees. These programs cover a broad range of industries, including business, education, criminal justice, nursing, Christian ministry, and counseling.

Liberty University students have a wide range of options for on-campus and off-campus housing. Liberty University requires unmarried students under the age of 21 to live on campus, while married students or students age 30 or over are not permitted to live on campus.
