Business degrees are offered at our main Longview campus. Degree programs for working adults are also available in Longview and at educational centers in Austin, Bedford, Dallas, Houston, and Tyler, Texas.

Accounting, Bachelor of Science

Accounting positions are currently in high demand, and if you choose it as a major, you'll find many companies looking for candidates with good skills and integrity. Graduates from our Bachelor of Science program are highly sought after and participants in the program often secure positions with well regarded firms and institutions months before they graduate. At LeTourneau we'll teach you what you need for the CPA as well as skills needed to succeed in business. As a CPA, we recommend pairing this major with one of our other business majors to provide you with enough hours to be certified, and at the same time, give you an even wider level of skill.

Minor in accounting

Eighteen hours of classes provide students with the needed foundation in accounting, federal income tax issues and business law.

Management, Bachelor of Science

This major is ideal for students who desire to be business leaders. So that you can better the world in order to look natural in a business setting and take initiative, we'll help you refine these skills. We concentrate strongly on three fields by which you will be able to develop targeted in-demand skills.

Human Resource Management

If you are interested in helping companies manage their staffing, conflict resolution, compensation and benefits, then Human resource Management is for you. After graduation, you will be fully prepared to take the National Resource Professional certification exam, as well as meet the expectations of potential employers.

Part of the program requires you to spend a semester as an intern in an international country of your choice, to give you that international experience you will need to succeed.

International Business, Bachelor of Science

This major integrates the international business core curriculum with courses that teach you technical business skills within a global environment.

For the student who is partial to languages, communications, liberal arts, and the ambition to conduct business in foreign countries, International Business, Bachelor of Arts is the perfect major.

Concentrations:

General Management

You'll expand your education to include the knowledge and skills areas employers tell us are most commonly affiliated with moving up into management positions: teamwork, leadership, change management, employee motivation and responsibility. You are allowed to select from a choice of specific management electives which makes your degree more versatile since it is tailored to your aspirations.

Human Resource Management

If you want to help companies manage their staffing, select this specialization and learn staffing procedures, compensation and benefits, and conflict resolution. After graduation, you will be prepared for the national Human Resource Professional certification exam, which will demonstrate to prospective companies that you are fully qualified to meet their human resources needs.

Industrial Management

To succeed in industrial management you need to have a passion for quality. Do you want to assist companies in making sure that they are producing the best products that they can in a competitive and technological business world? Do you have an aptitude for things of a technical nature? With this major, you’ll become adept in such hands-on-skills such as technical drafting, computer-aided design, materials technology and manufacturing methods and processes -- working beside engineering and other technical students. With training in both quality as well as project management, we prepare you for a career that enables you to focus on not just the technical but also the management issues of companies.

Minors:

Management.

You'll learn procedures in management, human resources, and organizational behaviors. You can select from several different electives that range from courses in conflict resolution to project management to compensation benefits, to complete this eighteen hour minor.

Leadership

There is a need for ethical leaders with the ability to transform organizations in the business world. Your leadership skills will be polished and allow you to provide the correct guidance to others by completing a minor in leadership. The focus will be on effective organizational structure, behavior and communications as well as outstanding historical leadership models.
