Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.)

This program teaches students what they need to know in order to maintain personnel records of an organization’s employees; assist with internal and external notification of position openings; assist in the hiring process; answer employee questions; prepare reports for managers; administer aptitude tests, and screen applicants.

Skills, Tasks & Knowledge of the Job:

  • Maintain and organize personnel paperwork,

Business Management: Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.)

This program will educate students in a way in which they'll have an extensive business background, and will be focused managers with strong principles. Students will use electronic software to enhance their education efficiency, for planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating their projects. People who graduate from this program are ready to start careers as manager trainees or project aides in a variety of businesses.

General Business is considered a vast area that can lead to infinite opportunities. Students should make an effort to state their goals and look for similar experiences to obtain those objectives. With some of the fields, you will need to seek further certification, licensing or schooling.

Administrative Professional: Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) School of Business

You will find that this program will give you thorough training in the utilization of today's office technology. You will gain proficiency in keyboarding, business communications, and accounting. All of these skills are required if you want to be successful in the fast-paced, multifaceted world of administrative support positions.

Credit Hour Total: 98.

Office Assistant: Diploma School of Business

You will find the essential training for general administrative support positions in this program. Basic bookkeeping skills are taught to prepare students for the accounting work that a large number of office assistants take care of. Upon completion of this course of study, pupils can transfer each of the credits they've attained toward the Administrative Professional associate of applied science degree program.

Skills, Tasks & Knowledge of the Job:

  • You will need to be able to operate telephones, compose e-mails, answer e-mails, and manage schedules.
  • You must organize receipts and process payments.
  • You will be required to maintain the office records and files.
  • You must have basic bookkeeping skills as well as excellent customer service skills.
  • You will need to have general knowledge of office operations and procedures and be able to carry out such tasks as may be requested by the company management and/or the office manager.
