Business Administration

The Bachelor of Business Administration course of study will ready graduates to join an array of technical and service-oriented fields. By successfully completing lower- and upper-division requirements, it is expected that graduates will be able to comprehend and apply the principles of business ethics. Furthermore, they should be able to obtain the quantitative knowledge and skills they need in order to make sound business decisions. They will have to integrate this knowledge, and use it to analyze a business. The student will then identify the strengths and weaknesses of the business and determine what changes should be made to bring about improvement. Students will be required to conduct independent research. This research must be relevant to business-related issues.

Business Management

The Business Management program is available under The Skousen School of Business, and it offers a complete environment of managerial concepts, techniques, and processes applicable to any industry. While the building blocks of theory of business and management are taught in both the Business Administration and Business Management programs, the management program also works with the student to develop their knowledge of human capital areas of the workplace through real-world foundations in employment law, human resource management, and labor relations. This program will also cover public relations, marketing communications and marketing analysis techniques in addition to the evolution and methodologies of Total Quality Management tools like Six Sigma, and Just In Time management strategies that afford today's manager the competitive edge to stay relevant.

Marketing Managers

As a marketing manager it is your responsibility to determine what products are in high demand, and to know what your competitor is up to. While satisfying the customer, they are also in charge of maximizing profits and market sharing. They will study the trends of new products and services and supervise product development.
