Gonzaga University

Gonzaga University started as a college in 1881, and has evolved into a private, four-year institution with more than 105 buildings spread across a 131-acre campus. Students at Gonzaga University can enroll in one of the many undergraduate or graduate programs offered at this Spokane, Washington school. Gonzaga University believes in a philosophy of educating the whole person, and a Gonzaga education integrates science and art, action and contemplation, and faith and reason.

The Gonzaga University campus includes some noteworthy buildings. The PACCAR Center for Applied Science, built in 2008, is a 25,000-square-foot-facility which includes technological labs devoted to robotics, artificial vision, transmission, and distribution. Gonzaga is the home to Jundt Art Museum and Jundt Galleries, which host the University's traveling exhibits and art collections. The Ralph E. and Hellen Higgins Foley Center Library has won many architectural awards. The Crosby Center hosts socials and organization meetings, and includes an organic store, a coffee bar, and a post office.

Gonzaga University features six colleges and schools: the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Business Administration, the School of Education, the School of Engineering & Applied Science, the School of Law, and the School of Professional Studies. Each school or college offers a range of degree focuses and programs, which prepare students for professional, legal, or educational careers.

Students who wish to attend Gonzaga University have a broad range of options. Students may attend Gonzaga full-time, or working professionals can attend Gonzaga part-time through evening classes. Gonzaga University even offers online classes for people with busy schedules, so they can earn credits toward their degrees on their own timeframe.
