The curriculum is structured to allow students to benefit from previous course work by encouraging the transfer of course credits from other institutions of higher learning. The BBA is a management degree course of study and is the undergrad equivalent to the MBA. The theory and practice of business constitutes the core curriculum of an eleven-course sequence which is considered as an essential element of the degree. The degree programs consists of the following seven concentrations, which are tailored to students with a specific area of interest. In addition, you can create your own course of study, based on your passions and job objectives, via the basic program. A student must finish 123 units to earn a Bachelors in business dministration.

Undergraduate students who want a degree will have to finish their mathematics, critical thinking, computer, basic proficiency, and English requirements in the first 27 units they take at Golden Gate University. Assessment exams are administered in the initial week of ENGL 10A/B and 1A as well as MATH 10/20/30 to guarantee your assignment to the appropriate classes (see class descriptions for information).

All of the listed classes provide three semester credit hours, unless something else is listed. Requirements for your major include at least a 2.00 grade point average combined with all your classes at Golden Gate University.

Program Requirements

Prerequisites for the BBA are 33 units of lower-division classes, 21 of liberal arts, 33 of business basics, 3 of supplemental requirements, and 33 of elective courses. Master of Science Degree in Human Resource Management

The completion of 33 units in the graduate program are required by the Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management. All of the courses here are worth three credit hours. If the student has previously attended a regionally accredited college or university and has completed comparable courses, the foundation program courses may be waived. Students may be admitted to advanced program courses before completion of the foundation program courses, but must complete the foundation program by the time that 12 units have been earned in the advanced program.
