Students at FCC can enter one of five schools to complete degree and diploma programs: the School of Business, the School of Information Technology, the School of Allied Health, the School of Wellness, or the School of Cosmetology. Students can complete programs in a wide variety of industries, including business administration, clinical skin care, computer network engineer, health information management, and more. Students at FCC learn the skills they need to begin new careers in many fields, or may test for professional certifications to qualify for new jobs or advance in their current careers.
FCC students must be high school graduates, or have a GED. To be admitted to Florida Career College, students must interview with an admissions specialist to discuss history, career goals, and students' objectives. Some campuses may admit students based on an "Ability to Benefit Test," or ABT, where approved by the US Department of Education.
Financial aid is available for students who are admitted and enrolled in Florida Career College. Qualifying students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, and enroll in an academic program leading to a diploma or degree.
Students who wish to qualify for financial aid at FCC must demonstrate financial need, meet minimum requirements for academic progress, and not be in default on a student loan or federal grant. Eligible students may qualify for a Federal Pell Grant, an Academic Competitiveness Grant, federal and alternate loans, the Federal Work-Study Program, or state and local grants and scholarships.
