Empire College

Empire College, located in Santa Rosa, California, offers several dedicated schools to provide degree programs to undergraduate and graduate students. Empire College School of Business offers programs in Accounting, Information Technology, Paralegal, Medical Assisting, Office Administration, and Tourism Management and Hospitality. The School of Law provides an evening Juris Doctor Law program for students who want to enter the legal field. Empire College's School of Business employs a job-focused curriculum to teach students the real-world skills they need to succeed. An Empire College business program takes anywhere from 6 to 18 months to complete. Empire offers both associate's degree programs and diploma programs to students in the School of Business.

Empire College also offers a Juris Doctorate degree for students interested in pursuing a career in law. Juris Doctorate students can pursue legal specializations in many areas of law, including bankruptcy law, probate law, international law, environmental law, family law, criminal law, or civil law. Students who wish to attend the Empire College School of Law must have a four-year degree, or meet specific requirements for undergraduate studies applicable toward a B.A. degree.

Both schools at Empire College offer evening classes, although the School of Law is an evening-only program. Students at the School of Business can choose day or evening classes. Federal and state financial aid is available for qualifying students of the School of Business, but Juris Doctorate students are not eligible for state and federal financial aid.

Graduates of Empire College have access to a Career Services department that helps place students directly with new employers. Empire College receives more than 700 job orders per year. Eligible students may find job placement through the Empire College Career Services department.
