Central Penn College, which has been awarded accreditation by the Middle States Commissions on Higher Education, began as a business school, and changed its focus and name in April 1999 when it was authorized by the Pennsylvania Department of Education to confer Associate in Science and Associate in Applied Science Degrees.

Students who graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting will be fully prepared to seek employment in this dynamic profession. It is necessary for a student to have 125 credits to graduate, with 43 credits being main courses in their major subject and 21 credits which the student can pick out, as long as a minimum of 15 credits are at the 300 or 400 rank.

What kind of work does a Business Administration graduate do?
Students who complete the Bachelor of Science degree program in Business Administration will be prepared to enter the world of business. The program will give you a well rounded education in management preparation, human resource and communication skills, and ethics in business and society. Furthermore, students who select this option need not specify a minor and therefore cede control over their education. Students will still be required to complete the equal amount at each level of requirements. It is mandatory that students complete 21 choice credits from the courses labeled ACC or BUS or they can select a minor. You must take level 300 or 400 courses for 15 of the 21 elective credits.
Admissions Requirements
Candidates for the Business Administration Bachelors Program will need a 2.0 GPA, solid written and verbal communications skills, and have taken at least an Algebra II level math course. Upon completion of your coursework, you'll do practical business work as an intern. This is the final task that will lead to success for you professionally. You will be given the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of settings and sharpen your personal skills and talents by working directly with highly qualified Business Administration professionals.
