Alliant International University

Alliant International University is a private, not-for-profit school that prepares students for professional careers in applied social sciences. Alliant has campuses in California, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Mexico City, and Singapore. As a school, Alliant's focus is on applying scholarship to solve social problems.

Alliant International University offers a range of academic programs, including a fast-track program for bachelor's degree students, as well as graduate studies and four-year undergraduate bachelor's degrees. Alliant has agreements with 30 community colleges to ensure the curricula are compatible, and that community college students can apply their credits to an Alliant International University degree program. Alliant has a graduate school in San Francisco that offers programs in sustainable management.

As a school, Alliant International University fosters and promotes diversity. Alliant's student life department promotes diversity festivals on many of its campuses to familiarize students with other cultures and promote befriending students of different backgrounds. Alliant International University's student life programs also include public service projects run by students, as well as planned events for students.

Student housing at Alliant varies by campus. The only Alliant International University campus that offers student housing is the Scripps Ranch Campus in San Diego. The other Alliant campuses located in California are commuter campuses, and students of those campuses live independently in the community.

Alliant International University hosts an extensive financial aid office with resources for undergraduates and graduates. Alliant offers scholarship information, student employment, loan application information, and loan counseling. Alliant students are eligible for federal student loans and other financial aid assistance.

Admissions at Alliant are handled on a school-by-school basis. Each school has its own application, and requires copies of transcripts, two letters of recommendation, and a personal essay.
